I custom designed the hotel room supplies for Xinjiang Hotan State Hotel. The products include hotel trays, note holders, remote control boxes, tissue boxes, service guide trays, stationery boxes, writing desk mats, shoe rails, rubbish bins, complimentary drink holders, bathroom consumables boxes and mini bar trays, a total of 12 categories and 16 products.

At the beginning of the design process, we understood that the client's requirement was to incorporate more of the local cultural elements of Xinjiang into the hotel products.

After doing research on the culture of the Hotan region of Xinjiang, our design used elements of the sultana drying room vent with Xinjiang characteristics to give the simple shaped surface a sense of layering and detail.

The interior of the product is an elegant brown colour with a vintage navy blue lacquer finish on the exterior, giving it both a traditional and modern feel.

In addition to the distinctive and creative shape of the hotelware, we have also created a texture that combines modernity and tradition.

The texture is based on traditional rattan stripes, allowing the texture itself to vary in size with the rhythmic undulations of the waves, giving it a striking look.
